Baked Beans

Baked Beans is a 4 year old Welsh cross gelding standing 11.2 hands high. This little guy is all personality in the best way! He is everyone’s best friend, and will follow you to the ends of the earth. The kids have had so much fun making his video and having him around the farm. He is safe for absolutely anyone, he’s kind, forgiving, and unflappable. He’s the type you just can’t get enough of. He drives just as good as he rides! He takes care of his rider in any environment; out on the ranch, in the arena, on the trails, in harness, and everywhere in between.  

 

Baked Beans has three smooth gaits and a slow and steady way about him. The kids have ridden him English, western, and of course lots of bareback. He pops over jumps, logs, and other silly things. He’s the kind you can let the kids have free rein to try new things with, and never have to worry about any funny business. We know when the kids have Beans out because all you hear is laughter and giggles coming from the arena. 

 

On the trails and out on the farm, Baked Beans acts like a seasoned pro. He has been all over the country with us, riding on various trail rides, camping trips, and entertaining and babysitting the kids who tag along while we work the other horses and move cattle. He crosses water, rides in traffic, through town, and is unfazed by things that most horses would be loosing their minds over. He just goes along without a care, packing around whatever little one he’s carrying safe and steady. He is easy to trailer, and will stand tied wherever you put him. He’s no drama, and not only a pleasure, but a useful pony to have around. Let any kid, their friends, or young family members hop on and be around him safely. 

 

Baked Beans is polite and friendly in the barn. He’s a good boy for all the normal barn tasks, absolutely loves attention, and is the first to the gate when he sees you. This pony would, in all honesty, prefer to live in your house with you. Get him and your kids bunk beds and he’d be happy as a clam. Since he doesn’t have a bedroom in our house, he lives out in a mixed herd of mares and geldings and gets along well with everyone. He’s an easy keeper with no maintenance or vices.
