Casper is a 4-year-old Percheron x Quarter Horse gelding standing 16.1 hands high. He is every families dream horse. Casper is as gentle and quiet as you could ever want. His size is perfect for just about any rider. Tall and sturdy enough for larger riders, and slow and steady for those who are timid or still learning. Casper is a dream on the trails and in the ring, he enjoys hunter paces, camping trips, and is great off property.
In the ring, Casper is slow and steady. He is easy to ride with a great foundation. He knows basic lateral work, picks up both leads, has great brakes, and listens to voice commands. Casper is happy to go in a frame or on a loose rein. He is beginning to school first level tests, and has been started over some small jumps. Casper is very safe and simple for anyone to ride. He is kind and forgiving, and always aims to please.
On the trails, Casper is a solid citizen. He will lead, follow, and ride alone. Though young, Casper is the horse to lead the way and give the others confidence in "spooky" situations. Casper is safe with dogs, traffic, crossing water, and more. Anyone can ride him out on the trails, he is as good as they get!
In the barn, Casper is a sweetie pie. He enjoys being loved on by the kids and family. He is handled by the children daily, and is a farm favorite for his personality. Casper is well behaved for grooming, bathing, clipping, and tying. He is easy to load and trailers well, and will stand tied to the trailer like a gentleman. Casper lives outside in a mixed herd of mares and geldings, but is well behaved when stalled too.
Casper is available to be tried at our farm in Clover, SC by appointment.

All horses are considered available and will continue to be shown and advertised unless we have received a deposit. An appointment to see a horse will not hold them for you. Deposits are $1000 via PayPal and are NOT refundable for any reason. Many horses have a waitlist of interested clients, so in fairness to everyone, this is a set policy.
