Dallas is an 8 year old Quarter Horse gelding standing 15.1 hands high. Dallas came from a local lesson program where he did everything from first time riders to jumping 2"6 courses. He is a good boy both in and out of the ring, and is simple and safe for any rider.

In the ring, Dallas rides like a lesson horse. He is point and shoot, slow and steady. He jumps a course, does a first level dressage test, and is extra quiet with the kids. He knows who's on his back and kicks it into a low and slow gear whenever a kiddo takes the reins. He knows how to go in a frame, neck rein, ride on the buckle, and knows his lateral work.

On the trails and off property, Dallas is straightforward and safe. He is well behaved in all environments, and hasn't put a foot wrong by us. He steps off the trailer and goes right to work. We have taken him off property for lessons, clinics, and hunter paces. On the trails, Dallas is a steady eddy. He will lead, follow, or ride alone. We have taken him riding in the woods, on busy roads, and into town.

In the barn, Dallas is gentle and sweet. He is handled daily by the kids, and is well behaved for all of the usual barn tasks. He prefers to be straight tied rather than crosstie, and is a good boy for all of the usual barn tasks. Dallas is happy living inside or out, and is currently in during the day and out all night. In turnout, Dallas goes in a mixed herd of mares and geldings; and gets along well with all of his pasture mates. 

Dallas is available to be tried at our farm in Clover, SC by appointment.

​Due to the increasing popularity of our horses, we can only hold a horse if a deposit is placed. All horses are considered available and will continue to be shown and advertised unless we have received a deposit. An appointment to see a horse will not hold them for you. Deposits are $1000 via PayPal and are NOT refundable for any reason. Many horses have a waitlist of interested clients, so in fairness to everyone, this is a set policy.
