Roswell is a 6 year old Quarter Horse gelding standing the sturdiest 15.2 hands you've ever seen. There are no perfect horses, but Roswell is about as close as they come to being one. He is broke the best, without being touchy or sensitive. He's the type of horse you want to ride all day every day. He is SAFE, educated, and forgiving. Enjoy him bridleless and bareback, doing dressage, riding western, on the trails, or some low level eventing. There are very few horses with a brain and talent like his that allow you to do so many disciplines, and do them well. You can put this horse in any arena, or any situation, and he will gracefully get the job done. He is gentle as a lamb, safe for kids or your grandmother, and built pretty as a picture. The only downside to this guy is that we have to sell him and can't keep him for ourselves! He is truly a once in a lifetime"Unicorn" of a horse. Whoever brings him home is beyond lucky to have him.
In the ring, Roswell is simply a dream. He has lovely gaits that are comfortable and easy to ride. He knows all of the lateral work, neck reins, rides bridleless, and works off leg and seat cues. He can go in and win at a first level test today, and has the education to go up the levels if you choose. He will jump some jumps in the ring, though he is most experienced jumping out cross country, and on hunter paces. Under western tack, Roswell is broke, broke, broke. He has all the bells and whistles to leave your friends watching in awe. He is forgiving, and does not mind a timid or nervous rider on his back. You could put a monkey in the saddle and this horse would still look good going around the ring!
Off property and on the trails, Roswell is experienced and quiet. He doesn't get worked up in new situations and gives his rider confidence. He is used to loading up on the trailer and going on hunter paces, trail rides, and to school off property. He has been nothing but a well-behaved gentleman on our outings. On the trails, anyone can ride him. Have a non-horsey friend coming over? Give them Roswell and they will be hooked on riding! He crosses any and all terrain, swims, is safe in traffic, and will pony the young horses. He will ride alone or in a group, and enjoys being out of the ring.
In the barn, Roswell is everyone's favorite. The kids enjoy grooming and loving on him, and he enjoys being the center of attention. He is loving, but polite. He knows his size and will not step on your toes. He will stand all day, whether he is tied or not, and is a gentleman for any and all barn tasks. Roswell is happy in a stall or out in the pasture. He gets along well with others, and is very easy to catch. Roswell stands for the vet and farrier, and has no quirks or vices.
Roswell is available to be tried at our farm in Clover, SC by appointment.

Due to the increasing popularity of our horses, we can only hold a horse if a deposit is placed. All horses are considered available and will continue to be shown and advertised unless we have received a deposit. An appointment to see a horse will not hold them for you. Deposits are $1000 via PayPal and are NOT refundable for any reason. A deposit holds a horse for 5 days. Many horses have a waitlist of interested clients, so in fairness to everyone, this is a set policy.
