Wizard is an 8 year old Quarter Horse gelding standing 15.2 hands high. Wiz is a packer, schoolmaster, and seeing eye dog. He is happy to pack the kids around, he’s tolerant of timid and nervous riders, and is the one to pick if you need a confidence boost. He is sweet, gentle, and as kind as they come. He came from a good friend of ours who used him in their lesson program and summer camp for the past few years. He can be ridden double, loves to go swimming, and is a trail master! Wizard jumps around a course, has a lead change, and has lots of experience at local shows and events.

In the ring, Wizard is happy to do whatever is asked of him. He has three comfortable and quiet gaits. He’s the perfect learn to canter type.  He will go in a frame or on the buckle, has his changes, great transitions, and will jump around a 2”6 course. Wizard is straightforward with no funny business. He has a great attitude and the brain that everyone wants. Trainers love him, his riders adore him, and the kids can’t get enough of him.

On the trails and off property, Wizard is a dream. He’s very used to loading up and going to different places for schooling shows, lessons, trail rides, and hunter paces. He will trail ride alone, in a group, and is happy anywhere in the pack. He loves to swim and will gladly cross any water you come across. He is safe with all things in and out of the ring including traffic, dogs, atvs, roads, bridges and more. Wizard is blast on the cross country course. He pops around beginner novice, and he is a great confidence boost!

In the barn, Wizard is a gentleman. He’s friendly, polite, and a pleasure to have around. He is handled by the kids daily for all the usual tasks. He has no vices, no quirks, and is a good boy for bathing, tacking, loading, clipping, and loves attention. Wizard is happy living in or out, and is turned out with mares and geldings in a mixed herd.

Wizard is a great choice for someone looking to get back into riding after a hiatus, or for someone who rides every day and just wants a safe and reliable partner they can rely on.
He’s perfect for guests and friends, or for the kids to have something safe to learn and grow with. If you are looking for a steady eddy, same horse every day, no fuss, no funny business type of guy, Wizard is your man.

All horses are considered available and will continue to be shown and advertised unless we have received a deposit. An appointment to see a horse will not hold them for you. Deposits are $1000 via PayPal or Venmo and are ONLY refundable if you are not satisfied with the results of your Pre-Purchase Exam. Many horses have a waitlist of interested clients, so in fairness to everyone, this is a set policy.
