Zaboomafoo - For Sale

Zaboomafoo is a 4 year old Quarter Horse gelding standing 15 hands high. "Zaboo" was born gentle and quiet. He acts and rides like your favorite old lesson horse would.  He is tolerant, simple, and above all, safe.  Zaboo has done many trail competitions, hunter paces, trail classes, and has even been used to work our hunting dogs. He has always been sensible and easygoing, no matter the situation he has been put in. He is a dream to ride in the ring, a reliable partner on the trails, and a gentle friend on the ground. He is safe enough to pony ride our youngest babies around, perfect for friends and guests to trail ride, and would be perfect for a rider needing a slow and steady confidence booster. Zaboomafoo would make a great asset to any lesson or therapy program too! Anyone of any age, or skill level, can safely enjoy this gelding.

In the ring, Zaboomafoo is the epitome of slow and steady. He has three smooth and easy gaits that are easy to sit. He naturally has a low and relaxed headset, and will go in a frame when asked. He would gladly stand around all day, but will still move forward when asked, just know he will never go anywhere fast! He has good transitions and picks up both leads correctly. He will plop along on a loose rein, and is forgiving of rider error, or a nervous rider on his back. We have started  Zaboo over small jumps and you would think that he's done it for years. He is brave, honest, and super cute over fences! He has jumped logs, flower boxes, coupes, and in and out of water like an old pro. We have put together some small courses and he has offered lead changes naturally.

On the trails is where Zaboo really shines! Nothing phases him, and he has seen it all. Bridges, steps, tunnels, traffic, hounds, bikes, gunfire, and none of it got a rise out of him. He takes everything in stride and goes where he is pointed. He has ponied other horses, been ridden double, and has been used to pack hunting supplies with dogs running and barking around him. He has done various trail competitions and clinics, as well as lots of off property riding and hunter paces. If you want a solid trail horse, Zaboomafoo is your man! Absolutely anyone can ride and enjoy this horse. He is a safe and reliable trail horse for any level or age rider.  

In the barn, Zaboomafoo is a puppy dog. He is gentle with the kids, and is handled by them on a daily basis. He is easy to catch, in fact he comes right to the gate. He is a good boy to groom and bathe, he loves attention! And he is well behaved for all other barn tasks like clipping, tying, loading, and being on the trailer. We dot have a single bad thing to say about Zaboo, he is a good egg all around. 

Zaboomafoo is available to be tried at our farm in Clover, SC by appointment. Appointments to meet and try horses can be made starting anytime after the Full Video is listed on our page. Vet and ship, and sight-unseen sales are welcome at any point once the horse is listed on our site.

​Due to the increasing popularity of our horses, we can only hold a horse if a deposit is placed. All horses are considered available and will continue to be shown and advertised unless we have received a deposit. An appointment to see a horse will not hold them for you. Deposits are $1000 via PayPal and are NOT refundable for any reason. A deposit holds a horse for 5 days. Many horses have a waitlist of interested clients, so in fairness to everyone, this is a set policy.
