Talk about talent, Dillon is a mix of endurance and desire all wrapped up in one beautiful black package.  He is round in his movement and forward in his motion.  He is shapey and safe but not the dead heads lazy horse that some folks just do not want to spend the day kicking and cropping along.  He is easy to enjoy and fun to spend time with.

In the ring he is very strait forward.  If you want to walk and trot on the rail he is happy to do the job.  If you ask him to hold himself he will.  If you allow him to be on the buckle he will just poke along. At the canter he is round and forward but under control.  Very simple and fun to ride. 

​

On the trails, hunter paces and the hunt field is where he really shines.  He is brave.  He is not looking to race back to the barn or back to his buddies.  He is the perfect horse to jump on and ride out alone for the day.  We have used him for camps and overnight trips. When a friend visits who knows how to ride and wants to really have fun, this is the horse we saddle for them.

In the barn he is so kind, patient and easy.  He is a great horse to introduce kids to horse ownership.  He stands quiet on the cross ties and is a gentleman for the farrier and vet. Check out his video and see how kind and easy he is to handle.
