🐴 CHOCOLATE KISS “COCO” – A Show Ring Legend You Can Trust
Chocolate Kiss, lovingly known as “Coco,” is a 12-year-old registered Quarter Pony with years of proven show experience. A true local blue-ribbon legend, he has done the miles — and he knows his job.
But here’s what really matters…
Experience builds confidence.
And confidence quiets fear.
Because whether you’re a parent, a returning rider, or someone who simply doesn’t bounce like they used to — the fears are the same.
What if he gets quick in the ring?
What if he feeds off the crowd?
What if I don’t have the brakes when I need them?
What if today isn’t like yesterday?
Coco was trained to be steady — not reactive.
In English tack, he excels in the Walk-Trot-Canter divisions. He carries himself quietly, stays consistent in rhythm, and does not rush transitions. He isn’t looking for excitement — he’s looking for direction.
In Western tack, he shines in Ranch Riding and Pleasure. He rides one-handed, stays soft, and has the kind of stop that gives riders peace of mind — not panic.
He is not unpredictable.
He is not sharp.
He is not looking for trouble.
He is seasoned.
And that matters.
For parents who quietly worry about safety in the show pen…
For riders concerned about nerves, crowds, or noise…
For those who want to compete but don’t want pressure…
Coco has already seen it.
He handles new environments with the same calm mindset he shows at home. He stands quietly to mount. He waits for his rider. He gives you time to get organized.
And perhaps the biggest unspoken fear of all:
“What if I buy the wrong one?”
Coco’s years of consistent performance speak for themselves. He has proven he rides the same day after day — not just on a good day.
He is not a confidence tester.
He is a confidence builder.
For the rider who wants to enjoy showing again without anxiety…
For the child stepping into the ring for the first time…
For the family who values ribbons but prioritizes safety…
Chocolate Kiss offers something more valuable than trophies.
He offers peace of mind.
And peace of mind is what allows riders to shine.
*All horses at CSH enjoy 24/7 turnout with a mixed herd when not in training. Training weeks they spend 3 days inside for work and 3 days off to relax. We do not feed grain but the horses to have 24/7 access to premium western alfalfa. All horses are up to date with vaccinations and worming. They are all on a 6 week farrier rotation as well and some are shod due to our rocky trails. We only train in a loose ring snaffle in western tack and a loose ring, French link or full cheek snaffle in English. Feel free to call or text me with any questions about horse care or training.*
