🐴 CRICKET – Small, Sporty, and Built to Have Fun
Cricket is a 4-year-old registered Quarter Horse standing a handy 14.3 hands—the perfect size for riders who want something manageable without giving up athletic ability.
What makes Cricket stand out is his movement and feel.
He is a naturally sporty mover that rides in a soft, correct frame and gives you that “fun to ride” feeling every time you swing a leg over. He’s light, responsive, and enjoys having a job—making him a great match for someone who wants to stay engaged and grow with their horse.
Cricket has the foundation to go in several directions and is already showing talent for western dressage, working equitation, and even the pony hunters. He has the kind of movement and presence that will catch attention wherever you take him.
Despite his athleticism, he remains straightforward and willing—never complicated, just eager to please and ready to go to work.
He is part of our Carolina Trail Horse Program, where we aim to offer safe, enjoyable, and affordable horses—but Cricket adds a little extra spark for the rider who wants to have some fun along the way.
If you’re looking for a smaller horse with a big personality and the ability to take you into the show ring or out for an enjoyable ride… Cricket is one you’ll love.
*All horses at CSH enjoy 24/7 turnout with a mixed herd when not in training. Training weeks they spend 3 days inside for work and 3 days off to relax. We do not feed grain but the horses to have 24/7 access to premium western alfalfa. All horses are up to date with vaccinations and worming. They are all on a 6 week farrier rotation as well and some are shod due to our rocky trails. We only train in a loose ring snaffle in western tack and a loose ring, French link or full cheek snaffle in English. Feel free to call or text me with any questions about horse care or training.*
