Monaco is a 4-year-old Friesian Sport Horse gelding standing 16.3 hands high. If you're seeking tall, dark, and handsome, Monaco checks all the boxes and then some! He is a 10 mover with a solid foundation both in and out of the ring. Boasting one of the best temperaments around, Monaco has a quiet and easygoing demeanor, and is always eager to please. He is straightforward, safe, and reliable, and is a consistent ride every time. With experience jumping small obstacles in the ring and on the cross country field, along with extensive trail miles, Monaco is excellent off-property and demonstrates all the potential to excel in dressage or as an event horse. Monaco is laid back and amateur friendly in the ring and out.
In the ring, Monaco is talented and flashy! He has three quality gaits that are balanced and comfortable to sit. He is schooling first level tests and knows basic lateral work. He naturally carries himself well, and will go in a frame or on the bit when asked. His canter is jaw dropping, and will surely turn judges heads! Though young, Monaco takes a joke and does not get upset about an uneducated, or nervous rider on his back. He is steady and won't go faster than asked, he has great brakes and a soft mouth. We have started Monaco over small jumps in the ring, he will be simple enough for anyone to continue his jumping training.
On the trails and off property, Monaco is dreamy. He is well behaved in all environments, and hasn't put a foot wrong by us. He steps off the trailer and goes right to work. We have taken hi off property for lessons, clinics, and hunter paces. On the trails, Monaco is a steady eddy. He will lead, follow, or ride alone. We have taken him riding in the woods, on busy roads, and into town. There is no complaints about anything with this pretty guy!
In the barn, Monaco is gentle and sweet. He is handled daily by the kids, and is well behaved for all of the usual barn tasks. He stands still to clip, tie, bathe, and be tacked and has great ground manners. Monaco is happy living inside or out, and is currently in during the dat and out all night. In turnout, Monaco goes in a mixed herd of mares and geldings; and gets along well with all of his pasture mates.

All horses are considered available and will continue to be shown and advertised unless we have received a deposit. An appointment to see a horse will not hold them for you. Deposits are $1000 via PayPal and are NOT refundable for any reason. Many horses have a waitlist of interested clients, so in fairness to everyone, this is a set policy.
