Juneau - (Junebug)

Juneau (June Bug) is a 7 year old Quarter Horse gelding standing 15.1 hands high. Recognize the Brand? Juneau is straight from the Diamond Mcnabb Ranch.  Juneau is the ultimate family and guest horse. The kids ride him around the farm double, hang all over him, and just have the absolute best time with this horse. He is trustworthy every ride, and is gentle as a lamb on the ground. He is an absolute love bug with the sweetest personality. Want a sensible, tolerant, and beautiful horse that everyone in the family can enjoy? Juneau is your man.

In the ring, Juneau has three comfortable gaits and a canter that feels like you're on a cloud. He does lessons with all levels of riders, and is a favorite amongst the kids. He has great brakes, easy transitions, and doesn't mind a nervous or timid rider taking the reins. He pops over small jumps in the ring, and is honest and brave around the cross country field as well. He has transitioned to English riding with ease, and is destined to win blue ribbons!

On the trails, Juneau rides alone or in a group. He crosses streams, logs, and goes up and down hills. He shines out on the trails, and really enjoys getting out of the ring. The kids, guests, and friends, can all safely take him out on rides alone or in a large group. The kids take him out for hacks and jump him around in the woods often. He is a simple, easy, safe, and fun horse for anyone on the trails! Juneau has worked with cattle and all aspects of ranching so nothing on the trail is going to phase him. 

In the barn, Juneau  is well mannered and a love. He really, really loves people! He will stand like a statue to be groomed and tacked, is easy to bathe, clip, and be loved on.  He is always the first to the fence, the first to whinny from the stall, and will follow you around like a dog out in the pasture or arena. Juneau lives out 24/7 weather permitting, and gets along well with anyone we put him with. Juneau has no vices and is the easiest of keepers.
