Tobias is a striking jet-black crossbred gelding who offers the rare combination of size, substance, and true all-around usability. Standing an impressive 16.3–17 hands, Tobias is a big, handsome horse with a kind eye, a great mind, and the type of presence that turns heads wherever he goes.

 

Tobias has a solid, real-world foundation. He has been used extensively outside, gathering and doctoring cattle, hauling confidently on trail rides, and proving himself to be the same honest, dependable partner every time he is saddled. He is truly point-and-shoot, with a willing attitude and a quiet confidence that makes him enjoyable for a wide range of riders.

 

In the arena, Tobias is a pleasure to ride. He lopes around soft and balanced, rides one-handed, is good-leaded, and has the feel of a well-broke Quarter Horse despite his larger frame. He is broke enough to go bridleless and has also been ridden English, making him a versatile option for riders who enjoy multiple disciplines. Recently introduced to jumping, Tobias has taken to fences naturally and confidently, showing an easy, uncomplicated approach.

 

Before joining our program, Tobias was trusted as a rodeo flag horse and used to clear cattle from the arena. He has been exposed to bright lights, loud music, and big crowds and takes it all in stride. Nothing rattles him. His gentle, genuine nature and big, friendly personality make him a barn favorite.

 

Tobias is straight, clean-legged, sound, and has good feet. He is the kind of horse that is hard to find—big, beautiful, broke, and kind. He is ready for a new home where he will be enjoyed, used, and appreciated for the exceptional gelding he is.
