Yellowstone "Monumental Fivetosix"

Yellowstone is an 10 year old AQHA gelding standing 15.1 hands high. Stone is off a long lineage of great Quarter Horses like Easy Six, Monumental and Hacksaw. Stone is a useful horse to have around the farm because he knows what a days work is all about. The kids enjoy taking lessons on him, guests and friends can take him out on trail rides, and he’s a blast on the cross country course and on hunter paces too! He’s at a great age where he’s seen and done it all - nothing phases him, and nervous riders don’t bother him. He knows his job, does it well, and can do just about anything you can dream up.  Yellowstone might be one of the most tolerant horses we have ever had when it came to doing all of the fun “spooky” video we do with our horses. We really couldn’t get a rise out of him, and the kids had so much fun!

Just like his name he spent his formidable years in Montana working on a ranch. From roping cattle, doctering calves and running fence lines, a horse like Stone has really seen it all.  So the scary things on a foxhunt or trail ride will not phase him in the least.  
 
In the ring, Yellowstone is simple and straightforward. He rides around on a loose rein, has a wonderful easy neck rein, and good brakes. He is broke both English and western, and the kids love to hop on him bareback! Working equitation and trail challenges is where he will shine.  He will jump around small fences in the ring, and has lots of experience schooling on the cross country course and jumping all the fences out on hunter paces. 
 
Off property and on the trails, Yellowstone is the best! He is a tried and true trail master. Water, traffic, hills, obstacles, anything in front of him he handles with ease and bravery. He will ride out alone, pony youngsters, or ride in a group.
 
In the barn, Yellowstone is sweet and gentle. He can be handled by anyone, and has great ground manners. He’s a good boy for all the usual barn tasks, and enjoys all the attention he gets! He’s easy to catch, and lives out in a mixed herd. Yellowstone is an easy keeper with no vices or maintenance required.
