Daytona  - For Sale

Daytona is a 7 year old AQHA registered gelding standing 15.2 hands high. This love bug is one of the safest, easiest, well broke horses in the barn. To know him is to love him, and there's absolutely nothing you can't do together. From kids lessons, to evening, trail obstacles, trail riding, ranch riding, and everything in between! He is so reliable that you can ride him completely bridleless in an open field, on the trails, and everywhere in between. We trust this horse 100% in any situation! Daytona has a rock solid foundation and start out on the ranch, where he's seen it all. He has all of the buttons, been ridden in all types of country, and has safely taken care of riders of all ages and levels. Daytona is as sweet, kind, and gentle as they come. He is the complete package of brains, safety, stability, and versatility. He is the type of horse that would work for just about anyone, he really fits the bill for just about any job out there. Daytona is impossible not to love, he is a quality horse that will be a tried and true parter for years and years to come. 
 
In the ring, Daytona is easy and forgiving. Under western tack, he spins, stops, lopes off, and has an easy neck rein. Under English tack, He rides in a frame, on a loose rein, and pops over all the jumps. He knows all of then lateral work, opens and shuts gates, and has been great to use in the kids weekly riding lessons. He does whatever job is asked of him and has never put a foot wrong. He has no funny business, and is the same every single ride. He is the definition of straight forward, and is comfortable, adjustable, and downright easy! Put together dressage tests and hit the show ring, let the kids take him to lessons, or throw on western tack and try your hand at something new! Hone in your skills, gain back confidence, or go try new things together. Whatever you want to do, you can do it with Daytona!

On the trails and off property, Daytona is sure footed and reliable. We have ridden him on countless trail rides, gone off property, and event went camping! He's the type that you'd feel confident putting your great grandma on to go out for a ride with. Busy roads, deep water, steep banks, livestock, atvs, you name it, he isn't phased. On the ranch, Daytona was used to push cattle, rope off of, and more. He takes everything in stride, and does not get worked up by his surroundings. He has been the same horse on and off property, and is used to loading up and going to new places to ride. Daytona rides alone, in a group, double, bridleless, and will pony other horses.

In the barn, Daytona is as kind as kind can be. If you see his video, you'll see all the kids climbing on him, loving him, and being silly with him. He just loves being the center of attention, and appreciates any and all loving. He has fantastic ground manners, he's a good boy for grooming, bathing, being tied, and for the farrier. He's used to kids, dogs, and goats, running all around, under, and near him. Anyone ca handle him, he's easy to catch in the pasture, and sweet as can be in the barn. Daytona generally lives out, but is just as happy in his stall. He is an easy keeper with no maintenance or vices. He gets along with everyone, and is a pleasure to have in the barn!
