🐴 ELIJAH – Kind, Honest, and One You’ll Love From Day One
Elijah is a 10-year-old Paint Horse with the kind of experience and disposition that’s getting harder and harder to find. He comes with a solid background working on a cattle operation in Montana, where he learned to stay level-headed, dependable, and willing in any situation.
What really sets Elijah apart, though, is his heart.
He has a unique blue eye that catches your attention—but it’s his kindness that keeps it. He’s the type of horse that meets you at the gate, stands quietly, and genuinely enjoys being around people. The kind of personality you can’t train into one… and can’t put a price on.
Out on the trail, Elijah is steady, confident, and easy to ride. He has the experience to handle new environments without getting rattled, making him a great choice for riders who just want to relax and enjoy their time in the saddle.
Since coming to us, he has transitioned into English tack with ease and rides quietly in the arena with a smooth, comfortable walk, trot, and canter.
Elijah is safe, seasoned, and built to take care of his rider—whether that’s a family, a recreational rider, or someone looking to regain confidence.
He is part of our Carolina Trail Horse Program, where our goal is simple:
to provide safe, kind, and affordable horses for people who just want to enjoy riding again.
If you’re looking for a horse with real experience and a genuinely good soul… Elijah is one you don’t want to miss.
*All horses at CSH enjoy 24/7 turnout with a mixed herd when not in training. Training weeks they spend 3 days inside for work and 3 days off to relax. We do not feed grain but the horses to have 24/7 access to premium western alfalfa. All horses are up to date with vaccinations and worming. They are all on a 6 week farrier rotation as well and some are shod due to our rocky trails. We only train in a loose ring snaffle in western tack and a loose ring, French link or full cheek snaffle in English. Feel free to call or text me with any questions about horse care or training.*
